The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has conferred its prestigious Higher Education Leadership Award on the Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Professor Haruna Musa, fsi.

The award was presented on Friday night, April 17, 2026, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, as part of a high-profile ceremony commemorating 45 years of student activism in Nigeria. The event brought together student leaders, academic administrators, and stakeholders to celebrate milestones in the nation’s educational struggle.
