Nasarawa State University Alumni Election Postponed to Ensure Free and Fair Process

The. Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman Fellow; UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFP, has postponed the planned election of the NSUK Alumni Association scheduled to hold on Saturday 5th April 2025.

The Vice-Chancellor made this known on Friday 4th April 2025 at the Senate Chamber of the University when she hosted the contending aspirants of the election to a parley.

The Vice-Chancellor while giving reasons for the postponement explained that it has become necessary to halt the elections to avoid the breakdown of law and order and to also make room for robust consultations among the various contending parties.

To this end a 4 member committee has been set up to among other issues, fashion out modalities for the conduct of a free, fair and all encompassing election that will be acceptable to all.
