New Appointment: Vice Chancellor Describes former Bursar as IBBUL Ambassador
The Vice Chancellor, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapa, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu has described the immediate past Bursar of the University, Malam Abdul Garba as a worthy ambassador of the Institution.
The Vice Chancellor made this known in a congratulatory message to the former Principal Officer following his new appointment as Bursar to Phoenix University, Agwada, Nasarawa State.
He described the appointment as another boost for Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University for having being represented in different institutions of learning with credible credentials.
He said the hard work and steadfastness of Malam Abdul Garba has earned him a credible place in the academic space, couple with his experience and knowledge of the cyber world.
Professor Adamu further eulogized the former Bursar for being a good financial manager whose hard work and resilience is worthy of emulation.
"My closeness with you has given me the singular opportunity to know more of your academic prowess and the ability to contain office exigencies irrespective of tight schedules", the statement added.
The Vice Chancellor advised him to see his appointment as a prize for hard work determination and dedication to duty which must be maintained, stressing that where much is given, much is expected.
Professor Adamu appreciated the proprietor of Phoenix University for finding Malam Abdul Garba worthy of the appointment, and assure that he would not disappoint.
Mallam Garba was appointed as pioneer Bursar to the Phoenix University while still enjoying his accumulated leave at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
Phoenix University is a private conventional university sited in Agwada, a town in Kokona Local Government of Nasarawa State.
