New FULafia VC, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, Embarks on Strategic Familiarisation Tour of Nasarawa Emirate Councils

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, has paid a familiarisation visits to the emirs of Nasarawa, Keffi and Gudi, all in Nasarawa State.

Kida, visiting along with members of the University’s Management team, was received by the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibrin (CON), at his palace in Nasarawa, Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Shehu Chindo Yamusa III (CON), in Keffi, and Emir of Gudi HRH Alhaji Sule Bawa (MFR), in Gudi, Akwanga. 

During the visits, the vice-chancellor solicited the support of the emirates in critical areas, including lecture theatres, student hostels, roads, walkways and staff quarters.

The traditional rulers commended the vice-chancellor for the visit, offering prayers for his successful tenure in office.

The emir of Keffi, specifically, promised to facilitate international linkages to help address the University’s developmental needs.

On his part, the emir of Nasarawa advised the vice-chancellor to work with other stakeholders to develop FULafia.
