Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna Holds Historic 12th Matriculation Ceremony

The Newgate College of Health Technology, Minna, on Thursday, 30th October 2025, held its historic 12th Matriculation Ceremony at the Engr. A.A. Kure Auditorium, Newgate University Minna.

The event marked a major milestone in the College’s journey of academic excellence, as new students were formally admitted into various health-related programmes.

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries including the Founder, Newgate Group; Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Newgate University Minna, Mallam Hassan Nuhu, the Mayanan Minna. Also in attendance were the College Supervisor, Hajiya Bintu Kaku Biu; the Director of Human Resources, Newgate University Minna, Hajiya Mario Shaibu Liman; the Vice Chancellor, Professor Yusuf Sadiq; as well as other management staff of Newgate University Minna.

In his goodwill message, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Yusuf Sadiq, congratulated the matriculating students and encouraged them to be diligent, disciplined, and committed to their studies. He commended the Provost and management of Newgate College of Health Technology for their continuous efforts toward nurturing competent and ethical health professionals.

The Provost of the College, Mrs. Queendaline Opara Iwuala, in her welcome address, warmly congratulated the newly admitted students and urged them to uphold the institution’s core values of Knowledge, Excellence, and Character. She reassured them of the College’s commitment to providing quality education and hands-on training that will equip them to make meaningful contributions to the healthcare sector.

The Registrar of the College administered the matriculation oath, formally inducting the new students into the Newgate College community. The ceremony was attended by management staff, parents, guardians, and well-wishers who came to share in the joy and celebration of the occasion.
