Nnamdi Azikiwe University Vice-Chancellor Hosts Chapel of Redemption Anglican Communion Delegates

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received delegates from the Chapel of Redemption, Anglican Communion in his office on Wednesday, 19th November 2025.

The delegation, led by Revd. Canon Maduabuchi Ezechukwu, visited to congratulate Professor Anyaehie on his appointment and offer prayers for his success. Church leaders prayed for God’s guidance and protection for the Vice-Chancellor, his family, and the university community, while assuring him of the church’s continued support throughout his tenure.

Professor Anyaehie expressed gratitude for the delegation’s show of love and requested their continued prayers for the peace and growth of the University.

The visit was attended by key university officials, including Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, Registrar; Mr. Gozie Egwuatu, Bursar; Revd. Dr. Benjamin Nwokocha; Arc. Promise Ohaegbu; Okechukwu Somtoochukwu; Prof. Enemor Victor; Prof. Harry Obi-Nwosu, Director, Center for Counselling and Career Development; Prof. Ikechukwu Onyenwe; and Comrade Izuchukwu Ejikeme.
