Northwest University, Kano Addresses Certificate Issuance Delay

Northwest University, Kano, has issued a public announcement to clarify the reasons behind a delay in the issuance of certificates, specifically for graduands who participated in the Second Combined University Convocation. The announcement follows the circulation of a video on social media regarding the matter.

Management clarified that the delay was caused by errors identified on a number of the printed certificates. Specifically, issues were noted with the endorsement details, which did not align with the correct and officially approved information previously provided by the university. The General Manager of the printing company, based in the United Kingdom, has acknowledged the error and assured the university that the correction and delivery of the remaining certificates will be completed.

Some certificates have already been delivered from the UK and are available for collection at the Office of the Registrar. The following categories are ready:

Collection for these available certificates commences from Monday, 22nd December, 2025, and will be open Mondays to Fridays, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
