NSUK DVC Leads High-Level Advocacy Ahead of Silver Jubilee

As preparations intensify for the 8th Combined Convocation and 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has commenced a nationwide mobilization exercise to galvanize support and participation from sister institutions and key stakeholders.

Leading the delegation on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation, and Linkages), Associate Professor K’tso Nghargbu, has embarked on a series of high-level courtesy visits across the country.

The strategic engagements, which began on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, have seen the DVC interface with the leadership of prominent Nigerian universities, including Federal University Wukari, Federal University of Lafia, Bayero University Kano, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Kaduna State University, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, University of Uyo, and Federal University Lokoja.

These visits serve as formal invitations to the forthcoming convocation and anniversary event's, while also strengthening institutional collaborations and academic partnerships.

In addition to engagements within academia, the DVC has extended consultations to relevant government agencies and NSUK alumni in strategic positions within and outside Nigeria.

The 8th Combined Convocation and 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, April 8, and conclude on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

This mobilization initiative reflects NSUK’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, institutional advancement, and the consolidation of partnerships across the higher education landscape.
