NSUK Hosts Professional Accreditation Teams

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has received delegations from three professional regulatory bodies for accreditation and reaccreditation of selected undergraduate programs.

The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) assessed (link unavailable) Chemical Engineering, (link unavailable) Electrical/Electronics Engineering, and (link unavailable) Civil Engineering programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Gudi.

The Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) conducted reaccreditation for the (link unavailable) Urban and Regional Planning (URP) program in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, while the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) assessed the (link unavailable) Health Information Management program in the College of Medicine and Allied Sciences.

NSUK Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, welcomed the teams, emphasizing that accreditation exercises strengthen the institution and enhance academic quality. She commended the visiting bodies for maintaining national and global standards .
