NSUK Part-Time Entrepreneurship Students End Academic Journey in Grand Style with Dinner and Award Night

It was an elegant evening of celebration, reflection, and recognition as the graduating Part-Time Entrepreneurship students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, proudly known as the Legacy Class 2018–2025 hosted a memorable Dinner and Award Night to mark the completion of their academic journey.

The colourful event, held on Friday, 24th October 2025 at the M&M Event Centre, Keffi, brought together students, scholars, family, and friends. In attendance were members of the Academic Board of the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies as well as management staff from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

Setting the tone for the evening, the Guest Speaker and former Head of Department, Professor Abdulsalam Jibril, delivered an inspiring keynote address titled “The Journey, Growth, and Legacy: A Reflection on the Entrepreneurial Experience of Part-Time Students, 2018–2025.” His message highlighted the resilience, transformation, and tenacity that defined the class throughout their academic sojourn.

Goodwill remarks were also delivered by distinguished personalities, including the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Director, Centre for Continuing Studies, Dr. Ismaila Olotu Abdullahi, Dr. Musa Doshiro, Dr. Vincent Paul, and the Coordinator of the Part-Time Programme, Dr. Hajara Ahmed II. They applauded the class for their sacrifice, commitment, and ability to balance academic work with other life demands.

One of the major highlights of the evening was the presentation of awards and recognitions to outstanding members of the class. Honourees included Comrade Halimat Abdulbadiru, Mr. Mark Auta, Mr. Sunday Wajilda Wabba, and Mr. Andrew Yohanna for their exceptional contributions to the class. In a touching gesture, Madam Grace Bulus was also honoured for her unwavering dedication to keeping the classrooms clean, orderly, and conducive for learning.

The event also featured goodwill messages from the Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor, Barr. Sa’id Badamasi, and the Acting Information and Protocol Officer of the University, Mr. Jaafar Abdullahi Abubakar, both of whom congratulated the class and urged them to be worthy ambassadors of the institution.

The night was crowned with music, laughter, networking, and a shared sense of accomplishment, as the Legacy Class 2018–2025 bid farewell to an unforgettable chapter and looked ahead to new beginnings in the world of enterprise and innovation.
