NSUK VC Attends Celebration of Academic Milestones in Honor of Shuaibu Magaji Labaran, SAN

On Tuesday, 30th September 2025, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, Fellow; UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN, CBER, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Dr. Halima Aliyu Doma-Kutigi, led a delegation of principal officers of the University to attend a grand celebration of professional and academic achievements in honor of Shuaibu Magaji Labaran, Ph.D, SAN, Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State.

The event, which took place at the Rainbow Marquette Event Centre, Area 11, Abuja, had in attendance the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, represented by his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, who served as Special Guest of Honour.

The colorful celebration marked three outstanding milestones in Dr. Shuaibu Magaji Labaran’s career:

His elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN); successful completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree; and the public presentation of his book titled “Enforcement of Anti-Terrorism Laws & Protection of Human Rights in Nigeria.”

The ceremony attracted an array of dignitaries and distinguished personalities from diverse walks of life, who gathered to honor and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of Dr. Labaran.
