NSUK VC Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman Inspects Ongoing Rehabilitation Works In Students Hostels

In a bid to ensure that the ongoing rehabilitation of student hostels are carried out according to specifications and to ensure students comfort, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman FELLOW; UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN, on Wednesday 11th December 2024 undertook an on the spot assessment of the ongoing rehabilitation works carried out in all the student hostels on the main campus.

 

The Vice-Chancellor who was accompanied on the assessment visit by the Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Yahaya Muhammad charged the contractors handling the project to be deliberate in executing quality jobs that will stand the test of time, noting that since time is of the essence the rehabilitation should be completed within the stipulated timelines given to them

In a chat with the IPU Team after the visit, the Vice-Chancellor restated her commitment in ensuring that the student hostels become habitable and comfortable so that students living on campus will have a conducive environment that will allow them operate optimally, she further explained that the inspection visits will be more frequent to ensure that the contractors are on their feet so that they will deliver the work within the stipulated time frame and according to specifications.

Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor on the visit were the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Yahaya Muhammad, the Director of Physical Planning, Engr. Ahmed Liman, and the Director of Works, ESV. Ibrahim Mairiga.
