During an emergency meeting, NUBESS President Rt. Comr. Christopher Yaisaa addressed students and executive council members, stressing the risks associated with participating in such protests. He highlighted potential dangers from unknown gunmen, Fulani herdsmen, and other hazardous elements that could disrupt the demonstrations and jeopardize the safety of students.

"We understand the difficulties facing our country and the concerns of our students," said Comr. Yaisaa. "However, it is crucial to allow the Federal Government time to implement necessary measures to improve the situation. The Students Loan Bill is a significant step towards alleviating some of the financial burdens on students, providing relief and reducing dropout rates."
