FUNAAB Staff Unity Games Concludes with VCO Team as Overall Champion

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), concluded its 2025 Staff Unity Games with a grand finale held on July 16, 2025. The event brought together staff members from various units of the university in a celebration of wellness, camaraderie, and excellence.
The Vice-Chancellor's Office (VCO) team emerged as the overall champion, clinching four gold medals across different events. This achievement showcases the team's strategic prowess and athletic agility.
In a thrilling football final, the Bursary/PR team defeated the VCO team 3-0 in a penalty shootout after the match ended goalless. This victory earned them the title of FUNAAB's Best Football Team.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, expressed gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed the university's commitment to staff development beyond office walls. He commended the Director of the Sports and Wellness Centre, Dr. Samuel Olabanji, for his outstanding coordination of the event.
