ATBU Triumphs Over ABU Zaria in Friendly Football Match

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, emerged victorious in a friendly football match against Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

The Chemical Engineering students of ATBU won the match 3-1, showcasing outstanding teamwork and determination.

The winning team scored three goals, with Sen. Farouq Osite and Lawi Abdulmutaheer contributing two of the goals. The third goal was an own goal by the President of the Chemical Engineering Department, ABU Zaria. ABU Zaria managed to score a consolation goal in the final minutes of the match.

The friendly match marks the beginning of a budding sporting relationship between the two universities. A return leg is expected to be played soon in Zaria, further strengthening the camaraderie between the departments.

The President of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSCHE) ATBU, Suleiman Ismail Adam, congratulated Team ATBU on their well-deserved win.
