NUC Approves B.N. Sc Nursing Science Program at UNTH

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the launch of a Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N. Sc) program at the College of Nursing, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for the establishment of a Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N. Sc) program at the College of Nursing, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu. This program, which will commence in the 2024/2025 academic session, will be conducted in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

The NUC's approval follows a recent resource verification visit to the College by the Commission. The formal approval letter, signed by the Acting Executive Secretary of the NUC, was addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of UNN and also sent to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital.

The letter confirms that the full-time B.N. Sc Nursing program will be offered at the Main Campus of the College starting from the upcoming academic session.
