The Federal University of Education, Zaria, hosted the commissioning of the Ramadan Outreach program by the Hajiya Fatima Abbas Foundation. Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, praised the initiative, which provided Renewed Hope Cash Grants to the less privileged in Kaduna State.

The Federal University of Education, Zaria, witnessed a momentous occasion as Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, led the commissioning of the Ramadan Outreach program organized by the Hajiya Fatima Abbas Foundation.

The event, held at the university’s Multipurpose Hall, served as a beacon of hope for the less privileged in Kaduna State, as the foundation distributed Renewed Hope Cash Grants to support vulnerable individuals. The initiative, spearheaded by Hajiya Fatima Tajudeen Abbas, wife of the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, aimed at alleviating hardship during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dignitaries present at the ceremony included the Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Hon. Jamilu Muhammad Jaga, alongside key stakeholders and university officials. Dr. Balarabe commended Hajiya Fatima Tajudeen Abbas for her dedication to humanitarian service, describing her contributions as a reflection of the Speaker’s commitment to social welfare. He expressed appreciation for her generosity and offered prayers for the continued success of the initiative.
