NUC Approves New Programmes for Modibbo Adama University

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given its approval for the establishment of five new undergraduate programmes at Modibbo Adama University in Yola, Adamawa State.

 

The programmes, which have been approved to commence in the 2024/2025 academic session, are B.NSc. Nursing Science, LL.B. Law, LL.B. Common and Islamic Law,  Political Science, and Sociology.

The approval is specifically for the full-time mode of delivery, and the university has been directed to provide adequate human and material resources to support the development and growth of the new programmes.

The NUC has also stated that any changes to the programme titles or nomenclature will require its approval. Additionally, the university will need to seek further approval from the commission before introducing part-time modes of delivery for the new programmes.
