The presiding chaplain of the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, Venerable Ezekiel Oluwadare has called on the government at all levels to invest more in primary education.

Myschoolnews reports, Ven. Oluwadare said this while speaking on a sermon themed 'More Money For Primary Education,' during an interdenominational service to mark the end of the week long celebration of NYSC @50.

Drawing his text from Proverb 22:6, he harped on the need to invest in children for a better future. In the case of Lagos State Government, he said the agenda to spend more on primary education rather than other tier of education, bodes well with building a good foundation which will determine their future.

Interestingly, it would be noted that the National Youth Service Corps on the other hand for the past fifty years have continued to invest incessantly in Primary education, Secondary education and Tertiary education through mentorship, tutorials, sensitization, and raising of peer educators.
