The NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed has described Late Alhaji Umar Yusuf Nalado as a man who was very passionate about youth development and the growth of NYSC during his lifetime.

The NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed has described Late Alhaji Umar Yusuf Nalado as a man who was very passionate about youth development and the growth of NYSC during his lifetime.

The DG expressed shock at his death adding that it is a colossal loss to Kano State and the country at large.

Myschoolnews reports General Ahmed stated this when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased member of the immediate past NYSC National Governing Board in Kano.

Speaking at the deceased's residence where his wife and children received the NYSC delegation, the DG commiserated with them and prayed the Almighty Allah to accept the late patriot to Aljannah firdaus and take care of the family he left behind.

He also presented a condolence letter on behalf of the Scheme to the family.

General Ahmed who was represented by the Director, North-West Area Office, Mr Aremu-Cole Kehinde was accompanied by the NYSC Kano State Coordinator, Malam Suleiman Andy Ibrahim, Management Staff from NYSC Kano State Secretariat and Corps Members.

The DG thereafter addressed staff of NYSC Kano at the State Secretariat where he charged them to support his policy thrust in order to birth a more productive Scheme.
