OAU Post-UTME Screening 2026 Rescheduled, New Date Announced
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has rescheduled its 2026 Post-UTME screening exercise to September 25–30, 2026.
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has rescheduled its 2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise, moving the exercise from the originally announced September 1–5 dates to September 25–30, 2026.
The university also extended the deadline for prospective candidates to complete their screening registration to Wednesday, September 23.
The changes were contained in a notice signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, K. A. Bakare, and published by the university on August 28.
The screening is for candidates seeking admission into OAU for the 2026/2027 academic session and will be conducted physically at the university.
Candidates who have already completed their registration will be able to access their individual screening dates and times from Wednesday, September 16, through the university’s admission portal.
To check their schedules, candidates are required to log into their profiles using their JAMB registration numbers as usernames and the passwords created during registration.
With the registration deadline now extended to September 23, candidates who are yet to complete the process have additional time to do so before the screening exercise begins two days later.

The university advised candidates to rely only on its official website and verified social media channels for information relating to the exercise, warning against unofficial sources and admission intermediaries.
OAU also stated that it does not endorse or encourage candidates to patronise individuals or agents claiming to facilitate Post-UTME screening or admission.
The university said the official screening registration remains available through its admission portal, while detailed guidelines for the exercise have also been provided on the portal.
Candidates with enquiries about the 2026 Post-UTME screening exercise are advised to contact the university through postutme2026@oauife.edu.ng.

The latest announcement means prospective OAU students now have until September 23 to complete their registration, while the physical screening exercise will run from September 25 to 30.
The university has therefore urged candidates to complete their registration through the official channel and regularly check their profiles for their assigned screening dates and other updates.
