OGITECH and Fujian University of Technology Partner for Chinese Language Training

The Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH), has signed a partnership agreement with Fujian University of Technology, China, to introduce Chinese language training at the institution.

The collaboration was finalized during a visit by delegates from Fujian University of Technology on August 26, 2025.

The Chinese language training program aims to equip OGITECH students and staff with practical skills, enhancing collaboration between OGITECH and the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone.

The partnership will enable OGITECH to provide consultancy, leadership training, and national skills acquisition programs that benefit industries in Ogun State.

Fujian University of Technology has expressed interest in collaborating with OGITECH on a paint production project, leveraging local raw materials in Nigeria.

*The Deputy Rector, Dr. Oluyemi Odutola, representing the Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, expressed OGITECH's commitment to mutual collaboration with industries in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.

Mrs. Wendy, representing the China Ministry of Education, pledged the Chinese Government's support to ensure a positive impact in Nigeria through innovation and communication skills.

This partnership opens doors for OGITECH staff and students to acquire additional skills, enhancing collaboration between OGITECH and the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone. The program is set to commence soon, with a designated space already allocated for the classes .
