Osun State Polytechnic Suspends 2024 Students’ Union Election

The Students’ Union election at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, initially scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2024, has been suspended until further notice.

This was announced in an internal memorandum from the Registrar, Abiodun O. Oloyede, citing a petition filed against one of the aspirants and security concerns regarding potential violence during the election.

The polytechnic’s management is currently reviewing the petition to ensure a fair and transparent process. Students are urged to remain calm and focused on their academic activities while awaiting further updates on the rescheduled election.
