The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to host the Ounje Eko Food Discount Market initiative by the Lagos State Government. According to a statement by the University management, the Market will commence on Friday, September 6, 2024, and will run for eight consecutive Fridays until Friday, October 25, 2024.
The market will be located at the open field behind the HRDC Building on the Akoka campus of the University. The initiative aims to provide food items such as rice, beans, garri, tomatoes, pepper, eggs, and bread at highly discounted prices for members of the university community.
All members of the University community have been enjoined to take advantage of the Ounje Eko Food Discount Market to purchase food items at affordable prices.
