The Peace Corps of Nigeria, Kwara State Command, attended the 24th Distinguished Personality Lecture held at the University of Ilorin. This significant event was organized by the Center for Peace and Strategic Studies in partnership with the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Center, Jaji.

This year’s lecture centered on the theme, "The Roles and Contributions of the Nigerian Army to National Development." It aimed to highlight the vital part the Nigerian Army plays not only in national security but also in fostering development across various sectors.

The lecture also included various panel discussions where experts and stakeholders exchanged views on enhancing the synergy between military and civilian entities for national growth. Participants agreed on the necessity of strategic partnerships to address pressing national issues, including insecurity and socio-economic challenges.
