Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, welcomed former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi during a visit to the College of Medical and Nursing Sciences.

Mr. Obi praised the college for its significant transformation since his previous visit, describing the progress as a testament to dedication, vision, and purposeful leadership. In a move to support the University’s infrastructural development, he contributed ₦15 million toward ongoing projects.

The visit was attended by Most Reverend Callistus Onaga, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu; Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, Vice-Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University; and Professor Amechi Katchy, CMD of GOUNI Teaching Hospital, all of whom commended Mr. Obi’s consistent support and commitment to advancing quality education and healthcare.
