In response to the recent increase in lodge fees, the PLASU SUG has urged off-campus students to submit their caretakers' active phone numbers to facilitate discussions aimed at addressing the issue.

In light of the recent and significant hike in lodge fees, the Students' Union Government (SUG) of Plateau State University (PLASU) has called upon students living off-campus to submit the active phone numbers of their caretakers.

This request is to be directed to the SUG Secretary General, Samuel Matthias Jawnmun, and will be effective starting from October 3, 2024.

The SUG is committed to engaging in meaningful dialogue with relevant stakeholders to mitigate the financial burden imposed by the rent increase and to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students. The union emphasizes the importance of collaboration and communication in addressing this pressing issue, aiming to support students in navigating the challenges presented by rising accommodation costs.
