The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially approved the minimum tolerable admission scores for the 2024 academic year. This decision aims to set clear benchmarks for candidates seeking admission into various higher education institutions across Nigeria.  

According to the announcement, universities will require a minimum score of 140 for applicants. This marks a slight adjustment intended to maintain academic standards and ensure that only adequately prepared students gain entry into university programs.

Colleges of education and polytechnics, including monotechnics and Innovation Enterprise Institutions (IEIs), will have a minimum admission score of 100.
