WAEC Commences Computer-Based WASSCE for Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the commencement of the Computer-Based WASSCE for Private Candidates, set to begin on October 25, 2024. This new approach offers a modern, tech-driven format for standardized testing.
The examination period will run until December 20, 2024, with WAEC extending the registration deadline to October 29, 2024. Candidates will participate in a hybrid format, where objective questions will be answered on-screen while essay and practical questions will be written in provided booklets.
In its statement, WAEC encouraged all candidates to take note of the extended registration period and informed them that the final timetable for the examination can be downloaded from the WAEC Nigeria website.
