The Jigawa State Government has launched a special scholarship program to support 801 students across various fields in the state.

The program aims to uplift intelligent youth, especially those from local government areas with low school attendance rates.

The beneficiaries include 400 undergraduate students, 150 postgraduate students, 50 PhD students, 50 students studying for professional accounting qualifications, and 151 female students in healthcare-related fields. The scholarship amounts vary, with some students receiving as much as N400,000.
