The university management has received numerous complaints from victims of admission fraud in the past and is taking steps to track down and prosecute these individuals.

The university advises prospective students to report anyone demanding money for admission facilitation to the university authorities. ABU is set to commence admissions for the 2024/2025 academic session, and the management is committed to ensuring a secure and transparent process.

The university's security personnel are working with other security agencies to identify and prosecute individuals involved in admission racketeering. ABU urges prospective students to be cautious and only deal with official university representatives.
