A tragic accident at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has claimed the life of a recent graduate and left two others hospitalized. The incident occurred shortly after the students had signed out, marking the end of their academic journey. The car they were traveling in reportedly somersaulted multiple times near the SMAT complex, resulting in severe injuries to all three occupants.
The only female among the victims succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, where she was taken for treatment. It is alleged that certain hospital requirements were not met, contributing to her unfortunate demise. The two male graduates are currently receiving medical care, and their condition remains critical.
