Prof. Bunkure Appoints Dr. Mansir Hashim as Director of General Studies Education

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Education, Zaria, Professor Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mansir Hashim as Director, Directorate of General Studies Education (GSE) of the University.

The appointment was made in recognition of Dr. Hashim’s academic excellence, administrative experience, and leadership qualities, as observed by the Vice-Chancellor and members of the University Management. It is also in line with the provisions of the National Universities Commission (NUC), 2007, and other relevant guidelines.

The appointment takes effect from 31st March, 2026, for a period of two (2) years.

While congratulating the appointee, the Vice-Chancellor assured him of the full support of the University Management and urged him to discharge his duties diligently, in accordance with the approved rules, regulations, and guiding principles of the University.
