A prominent lawyer and Arbitrator, Pius Danba Pius who is the Managing Partner and founder of P. D. Pius & Associates Law Firm has been appointed Notary Public by the Chief Justice of Nigeria. He took his oath of office today before the Chief Judge of the FCT High Court Abuja in Maitama, Abuja.
In his speech after the swearing in, P. D. Pius Esq stated that "I am humbled and honored to be sworn in as a Notary Public for Nigeria. This appointment is a testament to the trust reposed in me by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, and I am grateful for this recognition.
As a Notary Public, I pledge to uphold the integrity and dignity of this office, ensuring that documents are authenticated and transactions are conducted with transparency and fairness. I will strive to serve the public with impartiality, professionalism, and diligence, in accordance with the laws and regulations governing notarial practice in Nigeria.
I thank the Chief Justice of Nigeria for this appointment and the Chief Judge of the FCT High Court for administering the oath. I also thank my family, mentors, colleagues, clients and friends for their support and guidance. I look forward to serving the public and contributing to the administration of justice in Nigeria."
Pius Danba Pius is the managing partner at P.D Pius and Associates Law Firm. He is a lawyer, Arbitrator and now a notary Public. He hails from Zing, Taraba State. He is a solution-driven corporate/commercial lawyer with vast experience in corporate dispute resolutions, election matters, company incorporations and corporate practice, regulatory compliance, project finance, merger and acquisitions, corporate commercial litigation with experience spanning over 12 years. He has handled notable high profile cases including representation of Governorship aspirants, Senators and House of Assembly Members.
Pius Danba Pius bagged his LLB from the University of Jos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014 after graduating from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, he is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
