Redeemer's University Holds First Engineering Graduates' Induction and Awards

Redeemer's University, Ede, marked a significant milestone with the first Engineering Graduates' Induction and Awards ceremony, held on October 7, 2025. The event was organized in collaboration with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

The ceremony saw the induction of the first set of engineering graduates into the NSE, with top university officials and NSE executives in attendance. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, emphasized the importance of technical competence and integrity in the engineering profession.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Olanrewaju Adesina, highlighted the faculty's remarkable achievements, including full NUC and COREN accreditation. The faculty produced outstanding students, including Durogbo Joel, who graduated with a CGPA of 5.00, and 17 First-Class graduates.

Guest speakers urged the inductees to embrace innovation and integrity as they shape the future of engineering in Africa and beyond. The ceremony marked a significant step in the graduates' journey as professional engineers.
