SAZU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Fatimah Tahir Honored with Award of Excellence

The Vice Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University, Professor Fatimah Tahir, has been honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Nigerian Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Governance and conferred with the title "Chief Doyen of Nigerian Youth."

The award is a recognition of her remarkable contributions to education, youth empowerment, philanthropy, and her commitment to transforming lives and promoting development for the benefit of society and the nation.

Receiving the award on her behalf, Associate Professor Dr Musa Adamu Wunti, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, described the recognition as well deserved. He noted that members of the university community are proud of Professor Fatimah Tahir's dedication to education and humanity.

Dr. Wunti thanked the youth organization for recognizing individuals who have made meaningful contributions to society and encouraged them to continue identifying and celebrating people of integrity and outstanding service.
