The Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (SESN) has conferred its Fellowship Award on Engr. Prof. Garba Mohammed Ngala, a renowned Professor of Energy Engineering, for his outstanding contributions to renewable energy development and engineering advancement in Nigeria.

The award, presented at the National Solar Energy Forum (NASEF) 2025 in Makurdi, recognizes Prof. Ngala's remarkable research, mentorship, policy advocacy, and institutional leadership. He is currently the Pioneer Rector of Federal Polytechnic Monguno, Borno State.
