Sule Lamido University Commences Bid Opening for 2025 TETFund Infrastructure Projects

Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa reached a critical phase in its physical development on Friday, January 16, 2026, with the formal financial bid opening for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) 2025 Annual and Special Interventions.

The exercise, overseen by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Yakasai, marks the commencement of two major construction projects aimed at expanding the institution's capacity:

TETFund 2025 Annual Intervention: Focused on the construction of the new Faculty of Humanities building.

TETFund 2025 Special Intervention: Dedicated to the construction of new Student Hostels to address campus housing needs.

The transparent bidding process ensures that qualified contractors are selected to deliver these essential facilities. Speaking during the opening, Professor Yakasai emphasized the university's commitment to project integrity and its goal of providing world-class infrastructure to support the growing student population.
