The announcement, released by the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Research) and signed by Linus William Naiman, Head of Senate and Ceremonial, requires immediate compliance from all departments.

According to the memorandum, the decision follows a formal resolution of the University Senate aimed at streamlining the academic calendar. Deans and Heads of Departments have been instructed to treat the matter with urgency to prevent delays in the examination process.
Final year students are advised to remain in close contact with their departments to ensure they meet defense schedules ahead of the exams. The directive underscores the university’s commitment to maintaining order and efficiency in academic activities.
