Taraba State University to Receive COREN Accreditation for Faculty of Engineering

Taraba State University, Jalingo (TSUJ) is set to receive a professional accreditation visit from the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) on June 9, 2024.

This milestone follows a prior assessment by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in December 2023.

The accreditation is a crucial step in ensuring the quality and standards of the Faculty of Engineering's programs. TSUJ's Digital Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, has been instrumental in facilitating visits from various professional bodies, including the Council of Legal Education, Environmental Health Science Council of Nigeria, and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
