Taskiya University To Commence Operations In Kaduna

Taskiya University, which will be the only female university in the country, is set to begin operations in the ancient city of Zaria in Kaduna, and will admit only female students.

This was disclosed by the proprietor of the university who is also the lmam of the National mosque Abuja, Professor Ibrahim Maqari.

Leading members of the planning and implementation committee of the newly established University, to the emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamalli, told the monarch , that the female university will soon start operations.

According to him the proposed site of the university is in Kaduna but it will soon start operations in the ancient city of Zaria.

While thanking the first-class traditional ruler for his support, he also thanked the government as well as the people for their support which made it possible for the university to start its operations in the ancient city.
