TASU Opens 2026/2027 Sandwich Degree Programme Admissions

Taraba State University (TASU), Jalingo, has announced the commencement of admissions into its Sandwich Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic contact session.

The announcement, released through the Office of the Registrar, stated that the programme offers professional degrees leading to the award of Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LIS), and Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed.).

Available courses under the sandwich scheme include Educational Administration and Planning, Business Education, Technology Education, Computer Science, Christian Religious Studies, Economics, English Language, Geography, Hausa, Guidance and Counseling, Islamic Studies, Health Education, Social Studies, Integrated Science, Library and Information Science, Mathematics, Agriculture, Political Science, Biology, Chemistry, Home Economics, Physics, and Education History.

For 200 Level admission, candidates must possess an NCE, Diploma, or JAMB qualification with at least an overall merit pass, along with five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics. A JAMB Direct Entry application form is required, and holders of NCE or Diploma will spend four academic years in the programme.

For 100 Level admission, applicants must have five credit passes at GCE, WASC, or SSCE level, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings, in addition to meeting the approved UTME cut-off mark.

Application forms cost ₦5,000 and are to be purchased online through the University portal. Applicants are required to present evidence of payment at the Sandwich Office, Taraba State University Main Campus.

The sale of forms runs from January 8 to April 30, 2026.
