Two Corps Members Win 150Sqm Land, 50,000 Cash Prizes at NYSC, Osun African Ankara Night

Corps members Nwamenim Blessing Were with code number 0S/23B/0103 and Adeoluyimide Damilola, with code number, OS/23B/0129 have each secured a 150sqm piece of land and N50, 000 cash prize after they emerged winners of the Africa Ankara Night on Sunday at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

Myschoolnews reports the event sponsored by Adbond began with a question and answer session where members of the audience won branded items from the organizers.

 The chief judge went on to note that costume creativity, style, elegance and overall package and presentation were the criteria upon which participants will be judged 

Representative of the different platoons made their first appearance on their different traditional outfit representing divers cultures within the country. The second appearance by contestants in their casual outfits further left the audience excited as each platoon root for their contestants.

In the female category platoon 3 emerged winner with platoon 9 and 8 taking the first and second runner-up position respectively. Platoon 9 however emerged winner in the male category, leaving platoon 5 and 3 with the 1st and second runner-up position. 

The event rounded up with the presentation of the cheques to winners and consolation prices to other contestants. The Adbond representative, Mr. Idowu also reiterated the commitment of the company to helping Corps Members acquire landed properties at highly discounted prices.
