UCH Management Receives APONS Leadership; Reaffirms Commitment to Student Welfare

The Association of Peri-operative Nursing Students (APONS) paid a courtesy visit to the management of University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, on April 10th, 2026, at the hospital's boardroom.

The team lead, Commrade Faniran Okikiola, expressed appreciation to the management for their support and welfare initiatives for students.

In his remarks, the Chief Medical Director, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, welcomed the delegation and commended the students for their organized approach to leadership and engagement.

Prof. Otegbayo acknowledged the vital role that peri-operative nurses play in the surgical ecosystem of the hospital. He pledged that the management would remain committed to the association’s goals and continue to provide the necessary resources to ensure the success and well-being of the students.

The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to further collaboration between the student body and the hospital administration.
