UDUS Faculty of Social Sciences to Host 9th National Conference on Social Protection

The Faculty of Social Sciences at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, will host its 9th National Conference on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The conference, themed "Insecurities, Vulnerabilities and Social Protection: Insights from the Social Sciences," will commence at 10:00 AM in the university's permanent site auditorium.
The event will be chaired by Professor M.Z. Umar, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi, with Professor C.U. Aliyu, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, as the event's host. The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, an Emeritus scholar.
Special guests include Professor (Ambassador) M.A. Wali, Professor Muhammad J. Kuna, and Alhaji Sani Umar Jabbi, the Sarkin Yaki of Gagi, who will attend as the royal father of the day.
