Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) has proudly graduated its best ever student, Abdulrahman Abdulganiyu, who achieved an impressive feat with his outstanding academic performance.

Abdulrahman, an indigene of Ilorin, Kwara State, began his academic journey in 2018 with a determination to excel. Despite engaging in various campus extracurricular activities, he remained focused on his goal, overcoming challenges and discouragement along the way.
Throughout his four years, Abdulrahman consistently achieved high grades, with a CGPA of 4.89 in his first year, 4.92 in his second year, 4.95 in his third year, and an impressive 4.96 in his final year.

Abdulrahman attributed his success to dedication, prayer, and a disciplined approach to studying. He also credited his involvement in campus journalism and leadership roles, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of Vanguard Press and holding positions in the National Association of Campus Journalists (NACJ), for contributing to his academic excellence.
The university community celebrated Abdulrahman's achievement, pronouncing him the best graduating student of the year and the student with the highest CGPA so far.
