UDUS Student Emerges Best Speaker at ELSA Debate Competition

Alqosim Gbemisola, General Secretary of The News Digest Press, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has been declared the best speaker at the English and Literary Studies Association (ELSA) debate competition.

The event, held on August 28, 2024, at the PTF Hall, featured students from the 300 and 400 levels, with distinguished guests Professor Sidi and Dr. Alkali Abubakar in attendance.

Gbemisola expressed her gratitude and excitement, attributing her success to consistent practice and mastering the art of engaging her audience with simple language.
