UEE Akamkpa Vice Chancellor Reaffirms Commitment to Students’ Digital Transformation

Represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Assoc. Prof. Benedict Ugbong, the Vice Chancellor made this pledge during a courtesy visit from a delegation of MUST Company, Republic of Korea. Assoc. Prof. Ugbong highlighted the university’s readiness to collaborate with MUST Company on innovative ICT-driven training programmes aimed at strengthening students’ capacity in advanced digital competencies. He stressed that the partnership underscores UEE’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology across its educational ecosystem.
“Through this initiative, MUST Company seeks to empower students with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in an increasingly interconnected and technology-driven world,” Assoc. Prof. Ugbong stated.

The CEO of MUST Company, Mr. Juhun Cha, reaffirmed his organization’s commitment to supporting UEE in keeping students aligned with emerging 21st-century technological trends. He described MUST Company as a leading driver in the global digital revolution, specializing in bespoke web and mobile app development, strategic IT consulting, pioneering crypto projects, integrated marketing solutions, K-Health & Beauty platform development, and AI-driven media content studios. Mr. Cha was accompanied by Mr. Amani Kanu, Solutions Architect, and Grace Effiong, Frontend Developer.
The visit concluded with a guided tour of UEE facilities dedicated to ICT training and digital skills development. Also present were Dr. Eyo Ekpe (Bursar), Engr. Bassey Ibok-Eyo (Director of Works), Chief Akpeh Edung Ogon (Director of Physical Planning), and Mr. Justine Bentem (Chief Security Officer), who welcomed the delegation and facilitated the tour.
