UEE Inaugurates Directorate of Linkages, Partnerships and Collaboration

The Management of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, has inaugurated the Directorate of Linkages, Partnerships and Collaboration as part of efforts to strengthen the institution's strategic partnerships and advance its development agenda.

The Management of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, has inaugurated the Directorate of Linkages, Partnerships and Collaboration as part of efforts to strengthen the institution's strategic partnerships and advance its development agenda.

The Directorate was inaugurated on Monday, July 20, 2026, by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patrick N. Asuquo, in the presence of members of the University's Management.

According to the University, the establishment of the Directorate is aimed at expanding institutional collaborations with government agencies, corporate organisations, international development partners, non-governmental organisations, and academic institutions.

The newly inaugurated Directorate comprises:

  • Associate Professor Bassey Effiom – Director
  • Dr. Uno Ukam – Deputy Director I
  • Mr. Emmanuel Adi – Deputy Director II

Speaking during the inauguration, Prof. Asuquo urged the newly appointed officials to be proactive, innovative, and result-oriented in securing strategic partnerships that will promote academic excellence, research, entrepreneurship, infrastructure development, staff capacity building, and the University's global visibility.

He noted that effective collaboration remains essential to the institution's continued growth and sustainable development, urging the team to justify the confidence placed in them through dedicated and impactful service.

Responding on behalf of the Directorate, the Director, Associate Professor Bassey Effiom, expressed appreciation to the Vice Chancellor and the University Management for the opportunity to serve.
