Ufuma Monarch Hails Federal Poly Oko Rector’s Transformational Leadership; Announces 40 Scholarships

The unrelenting effort and steadfast commitment of the transformational Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie towards a holistic transformation of the institution has continued to gain traction.

The most recent is the gesture from the traditional ruler of Ufuma Community ,HRH Igwe S. Chika Uchime Diji III of Ufuma . The traditional ruler in a letter dated February 4 2026 commended the Rector for fast tracking the development of Ufuma campus of the institution following the accreditation of Agricultural Technology , Horticultural Technology and commencement of Geological Technology at the campus; in addition to other ongoing projects.

In his show of support and appreciation of the Rector's effort, Igwe Uchime on behalf of the Ufuma Community, offered tuition-paid scholarships of N74,500 each to forty year one students as follows: 

First fifteen students to register in Agricultural Technology Department,

First fifteen students to register in Geological Technology Department and First ten students to register in Horticultural Technology Department.

The Rector deeply appreciates this gesture and thanks HRH Igwe S. Chika Uchime Dijii III of Ufuma for the rare and commendable initiative.
